It’s no secret—the R+F team loves dogs. With Fort Wayne being a highly pet friendly city, we love how we can fully relish this season with our paw pals. There are a variety of restaurants offering dog-friendly patios where you and your pup will surely have the best time. We rounded up some local favorites.

Aside from an excellent menu and exquisite hand-crafted beverages, Three Rivers Distilling boasts of having one of the most spacious dog-friendly patios in Fort Wayne. Choose your spot—there is an open courtyard with sun sails and table umbrellas, and two covered areas. Your pups will be greeted with treats and water.

The Friendly Fox is easily one of our team’s favorite local hangouts. We love their gourmet coffee, delectable sandwiches, pastries, salads, and homemade soups. Their patio has a charming ambiance that is perfect for having hearty conversations, and spending time with your fur pal.

Come, sit, and stay at The Black Dog Pub. They offer cocktails, wines and beers, luscious homemade food, and an inviting atmosphere that will make you and your four-legged buddy right at home.
Fall in love with this locally owned coffee house and bakery’s specialty coffee and tea, homemade baked goods, cured meats, and light breakfast and lunch. They have homemade dog biscuits, too! Perfectly complementing the delightful food is a peaceful and eclectic outdoor seating.

Pause and unwind at Pedal City’s beer garden. They feature fascinating cocktails, beers, wine slushees, and flavorful appetizers such as onion rings and mac & cheese bites. Dogs are also welcome in the outdoor area. With available doggie basket treats, they are sure to have a fun time, and full bellies, too! Watch out for scheduled doggie date nights, and fundraisers for animals.
